ssCore.Win.setIcon

Change the icon display on the title bar while the application is running.

Availability:

First available in version 3.0 build 2039.

Input Parameters:

resource - A fully qualified path to an ICO file or the path to a resource in the layout. If path is an ICO resource that was not auto-extracted at starup, it will be extracted automatically. This parameter supports monikers.

forceUpdate - [Optional] - setting this argument to true tells Windows to force an update of the icon. This is the only way to change the icon that appears in the Task Manager Applications list. This may cause a momentary flicker in icons on the desktop while the icon cache is updated. Valid values include: true and false.

Output Parameters:

No output parameters.

Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.Win.setIcon( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );

Synchronous Mode:

When this method is called synchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is returned to the caller immediately.

var returnObject = ssCore.Win.setIcon( paramsObject );

Notes:

None.

Examples:

ssCore.Win.setIcon({resource:"\\appIcon.ico"});
