ssCore.HTTP.host

Identifies the host server that the plugin will connect to.

Availability:

First available in version 3.0 build 2039.

Input Parameters:

host - Name (or IP address) of the server that the plugin will connect to.

Output Parameters:

No output parameters.

Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.HTTP.host( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );

Synchronous Mode:

When this method is called synchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is returned to the caller immediately.

var returnObject = ssCore.HTTP.host( paramsObject );

Notes:

You can use an IP address in place of a server name but it's easier to let the plugin figure that out for you. You should not supply the "http://" or "https://" prefix like you do in a browser to signify which protocol to use (see HTTP.protocol).

Examples:

ssCore.HTTP.host({host:"myserver.com"});
