ssCore.HTTP.authUser

Sets the password to be automatically supplied when trying to access protected sites.


Availability:

First available in version 3.0 build 2039.


Input Parameters:

userID - [Optional] - Name of a user authorized to access pages in a protected realm. Use 'HTTP.authPswd' to supply a password.


Output Parameters:

No output parameters.


Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.HTTP.authUser( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );


Synchronous Mode:

When this method is called synchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is returned to the caller immediately.

var returnObject = ssCore.HTTP.authUser( paramsObject );


Notes:

HTTP.authPswd should always be called with HTTP.authUser.
