ssCore.Catalog.found

Find out how many rows matched the search criteria (size of the result set).


Availability:

First available in version 3.0 build 2039.


Input Parameters:

None.


Output Parameters:

result - The number of rows that matched the search criteria.


Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.Catalog.found( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );


Synchronous Mode:

When this method is called synchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is returned to the caller immediately.

var returnObject = ssCore.Catalog.found( paramsObject );


Notes:

This function can only be called after Catalog.find has completed. You can check this value against the value supplied to Catalog.maxRows (or a default of 100) to figure out whether you need to tell the user that the max number of rows has been exceeded.
