ssCore.App.quit

Performs the same job as calling the Flash Quit FSCommand, asks SWF Studio to shut down your application.

Availability:

First available in version 3.0 build 2039.

Input Parameters:

None.

Output Parameters:

No output parameters.

Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.App.quit( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );

Synchronous Mode:

This method can only be called asynchronously.

Notes:

App.quit is a replacement for the Flash quit FSCommand but neither one actually quits your application immediately, instead they generate an onQuit notification asking SWF Studio to shut down the application. If no onQuit handler has been enabled (see App.setNotify for details) the application will end normally.

There may be a short delay while SWF Studio peforms an orderly shutdown, cleans up any temporary files it may have created, etc.

Examples:

ssCore.App.quit();
