ssCore.ActiveX.isRegistered

Determines whether a specified progId represents an installed ActiveX control.


Availability:

First available in version 3.3 build 120.


Input Parameters:

progId - Programmatic id (class name) of the ActiveX control you want to test e.g. use 'Shell.Explorer' to see if the Internet Explorer Web Browser control is registered.


Output Parameters:

result - TRUE if the specified class name represents a registered ActiveX control.


Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.ActiveX.isRegistered( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );


Synchronous Mode:

When this method is called synchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is returned to the caller immediately.

var returnObject = ssCore.ActiveX.isRegistered( paramsObject );
