ssCore.ADO.moveTo

Move the current row pointer to the specified row in the open table.

Availability:

First available in version 3.0 build 2039.

Input Parameters:

number - The number of the record to move to. Records start at 0.

Output Parameters:

result - A string which contains the contents of the new row.

adoError - An ADO specific error message.

Asynchronous Mode:

When this method is called asynchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is passed to the specified callback function.

ssCore.ADO.moveTo( paramsObject [, callbackParamsObject] [, errorParamsObject] );

Synchronous Mode:

When this method is called synchronously, a return object containing the output parameters is returned to the caller immediately.

var returnObject = ssCore.ADO.moveTo( paramsObject );

Notes:

A failure with an error code of "8" (end-of-file) or "9" (beginning-of-file) indicates that you have requested a record that does not exist. Though this should not be considered a fatal error of the database, you will need to move to a valid record before being able to successfully retrieve record data.

Examples:

The following example moves the row pointer to the first record and displays the contents of the first record in the SWF Studio Trace tab.

var return_obj = ssCore.ADO.moveTo({number: 0});

ssDebug.trace(return_obj.result);
