I got some error messages in the windows system logs mentionning the following files :
c:\docs&settings\kiosk\application data\.#\ mbx@...

They look like binary files.

What are they used for?

Those files are temp files for virtualizing the Flash OCX and other DLLs we use in the background. Which version of SWF Studio are you using? With 3.5 buidl 314 you shouldn't be getting any errors.

I use version 3.5 buidl 314.

The error messages translated from the french are :
(where KIOSK.exe is the projector)

first one :
"application pop up KIOSK.exe, incorrect image. Application or dll c:\docs&settings\kiosk\application data\.#\mbx@96@A14ID8.### is not a valid windows image."

second one :
"failling application KIOSK.exe version ..., failling module mbx@998@a141a8###, version 5.1.2600.2180, failling adresse 0x0001eb33 "

The KIOSK.exe sometimes crashes down, at least as report to me my client , althought this happens very rarely.
