Hello Everyone,

New to the forum and have recently started using SWF Studio as trial with view to purchase.

My flash skills are very basic at moment and I have a question regarding sockets / ports... I have been asked to pass information through a port on Windows using flash for a second Java application to read.

Is this possible and any help or nudges in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,
Owen

Hi and welcome aboard,

you can sue the TCP plugin commands to setup socket communication, however currently only string data can be send, no raw binary output. Check out this example
