We are having trouble getting our drop down component buttons to function properly. The buttons DO drop down, but nothing happens when the selection options are clicked. When selected a function like the following should be called:

function attach35(){
ph.removeMovieClip(); //removes any previous mcs from ph(placeholder)
testScroller.scrollToTop(); //placeholder is contained in a scroller
ph.attachMovie("35","35",0); //attaches selected movie to placeholder

FYI the main movie is a single frame containing many movie clips controlled by AS2. The component buttons are all on the main timeline.

Please let us know. Thanks in advance for any and all of your help.

If AGo's shot didn't hit the target, it would help us to help you if you explained a little more.

What component are you using?

Does it require an eventHandler? (presumably yes, in which case how have you coded it?)

How are you trying to call the function attach35()? (might be a scoping problem)
