Hi,

I tried to view a FLV video. It works in the swf file. No way in the exe file. I see the control barre and the cursor moove. But not the video.

I have a FLVPlayback instance (named player) in a clip.

this.attachMovie("video","clFilm",this.getNextHighestDepth());
filePath = "Lyon-Film-Aquaviva.flv"; //for the swf : it works
filePath = ssGlobals.ssStartDir+"\\Lyon-Film-Aquaviva.flv"; //for the exe
//ssDebug.console("filepath : " + filePath); //OK
clFilm.player.contentPath = filePath;

SWF Studio 3.5
Flash CS4 AS2 (:rolleyes: )
Publication : Flash 8 or 10 AS2

Using ssGlobals.ssStartDir to form the path to the FLV file is the right thing to do. Can you post a simple FLA that uses this approach so we can see what you're doing?

:) Thanks very much
It was an encoding problem
I've change the encoding of the flv :
- video : H.264/AVC to SCRE
- audio : MPEG 2/4 to MP3
Perhaps H.264/AVC is not supported by SWF Studion 3.5 ?

Thanks for the assistance Tim.

SWF Studio 3.5 had Flash Player 9r47. H.264 support was not implemented until Flash Player 10. The first SWF Studio version to include Flash Player 10 was 3.7 and that was Flash Player 10.0.12.36.

If you're publishing for Flash Player 10 you might have issues with SWF Studio 3.5 - definitely no guarantees there.

Just a quick reminder: Your SWF Studio V3 license entitles you to free updates of V3, so you can update to V3.8 at no charge.
